Building Zambia
More than 170 volunteers in Livingstone, Zambia are currently building two elementary school campuses and several One-Day Churches as well as conducting medical and dental clinics and holding children’s outreach programs.
View daily updates from the Livingstone project here.
Each school will hold 350 students, and the 50 One-Day Churches to be built in the country will enable an already large membership to continue growing.
Seventh-day Adventist church membership has doubled in Zambia over the past two years. More than 600,000 members worship throughout the country, nearly 20,000 of them in the capital city region of Livingstone. Out of the 6,000 congregations in the country, only 2,000 have a church home.
