Vinish Wilson assumed his new role as country director for Maranatha in India this month. Based out of Delhi, Wilson will oversee Maranatha’s goals for 2010, which include finishing the Ongole Seventh-day Adventist School campus and building at least 37 churches throughout the country. He served Maranatha as a manager in India for eight years and worked for World Vision India over the past year.
Church leaders and Maranatha staff held a special dedication service Dec. 11 to welcome Wilson into his new role. John Rathinaraj, president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in India, said a prayer for Maranatha's work in India and asked God's blessings on the upcoming projects in the country.
Doug Clark, Maranatha’s country director in India for 12 years, has transitioned to Maranatha headquarters in Roseville, Calif., as assistant to the president.
