Maranatha Highlighted at ASI Convention

Maranatha was well represented at the annual Adventist-Laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI) convention held this year in Orlando, Fla. ASI, whose goal is to promote Christ in the marketplace, features dozens of independent ministries like Maranatha and outreach groups as they network to discover new ways of reaching out to people.

Maranatha President Don Noble made a special appeal during the church service for involvement in the new One-Day Church and One-Day School program. He also highlighted Maranatha’s involvement in Haiti. Maranatha is working with ASI to provide One-Day churches that are being used as shelters, schools and houses of worship for thousands who were left with nothing after January’s earthquake.

ASI raises hundreds of thousands of dollars at each convention to go toward projects that will further the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s work around the globe.
